A new heat pump for your household, fully covered by the program. No cost to you. The energy advisor has already visited every home, so we know what yours needs.
A heat pump does not burn fuel to make heat. It moves heat from one place to another, which is why it uses so much less energy than baseboard, gas, or oil.
In winter, the heat pump pulls warmth out of the cold outside air, even when it is freezing, and brings it inside.
In summer, it works in reverse, moving heat out of your home to keep it cool. One system, all year round.
A heat pump runs on electricity, but it is so efficient that your total heating cost usually goes down, especially if you heat with oil, propane, or electric baseboards today. The fair way to look at it is your total energy cost across the whole year.
The assessment is already done, so the path is simple. Here is what to expect once you register.
